Oldan Jones didn’t start in an office. He started on parking lots — learning the trade from the ground up, understanding how Colorado’s freeze-thaw cycles, UV radiation, and extreme temperature swings destroy pavement faster than almost anywhere else in the country.
He founded American SealCoat and built it into one of Colorado’s most respected sealcoating operations. That foundation of pavement protection expertise became the backbone of everything Clear Choice does today.
In 2017, Oldan launched Clear Choice Paving & Koncrete — expanding into full-service asphalt paving, concrete, crack repair, striping, and snow removal. The company grew because of one simple principle: do the job right, show up personally, and treat every customer’s property like your own.
Today Clear Choice has paved and sealed parking lots for Safeway, Walgreens, Dollar General, HOA communities, churches, and hundreds of Colorado Springs homeowners. The company has grown — but Oldan still shows up to every job himself.

Before Clear Choice, there was American SealCoat — the sealcoating company Oldan founded and grew from scratch. That crew learned Colorado pavement the hard way, developing the expertise and standards that still drive every Clear Choice job today.
The sealcoating foundation matters. Understanding pavement protection at the deepest level — how UV damages asphalt binder, how freeze-thaw cycles crack bases, how water infiltration accelerates failure — is what separates a contractor who does quality work from one who just gets jobs done.
